I still get authors warning me that I shouldn't be giving away my work for free and they cringe when I mention doing an audiobook to post up for free as well, but you know, the reality is that I have not only gained an audience but I've actually increased book sales and have gotten emails asking when the next book is out. That never happened when I was marketing the "buy my book" way. I hear horror stories about piracy too, but that doesn't bother me either. One author purposely does not have ebooks because of piracy fears, but she found her book up on ebay as an ebook anyway. It just seems to me that it'll happen at some point. So that is why I don't sweat the piracy thing. Okay. Enough of my soapbox. :-) I appreciate the comment and I do also check out your site on a regular basis. Again, like Tony, I've been a lurker.
