As an animal lover, I would be ashamed not to show off my critters. So, without further ado, my little menagerie of critters:
First, the big beastie, my horse Beau (H.H. Beauregarde, American Warmblood Society 2006 gelding who is actually a Dutch Warmblood X Thoroughbred cross). The first pic is the most current, from October 2011.
This was taken with my phone’s camera. I don’t usually take a camera with me to the barn, but I always have my cell phone, especially for emergencies.
This was taken with a real camera around March 2010, I believe. Here’s Beau lying in his stall at the old barn for a nap after or, by the looks of the hay still left over, during dinner.
I ride dressage and Beau is loving it. He’s a natural in movement, as most warmbloods are bred to be super athletes with great dispositions. Beau is no exception to the rule. Stay up to date on his training by following my LiveJournal riding journal.
As for my other critters…I have three indoor-only cats. The lighter Siamese is named Padme (as in we’re Star Wars fans and I wanted a name that fit her personality) and Harlee Quin (as in Joker’s girlfriend from Batman, but spelled differently so people wouldn’t think Harley Davidson when they see or hear Harley). Harlee’s name suits her well, since she’s our main lolcat clown 
Here are Harlee and Padme curled up together on a pile of clean clothes on our bed. As you can see, Padme is the Siamese. Harlee is a tortoise shell calico/tuxedo/other mix.
And here is our baby of the family, Dargo Zaphod, who was born on 10-10-10, a day that translates to 42 in binary (according to my computer programmer husband) and influenced his naming:

Harlee in one of her favorite places and looking more dignified than she normally does. The reflected flash from her eyes gives them a creepy green glow >:)

Padme was born in September 2003 but we got her as a two-year old cat in October 2005. Harlee was born in September 2007 and I found her as a giveaway in November of that year. They keep each other company and love to play together, so it’s a perfect match
